How did they get me to become emotionally involved with a story about a schoolteacher trying to blackmail his way into the principal's job? That is about the most boring of all possible stories and yet I breathed such a huge sigh of relief at the end.

Also, I found it funny that Jack says something like if Richard wants to die, then there's nothing we can do to stop him. Actually doing nothing would stop him.
