So it seems that they have finally signed up an actor to play Steve Rogers which is handy as they only a couple of months away from the shoot date.

Evans could be a very good choice. He certainly has the look (although he may look odd blond) and he has shown that he can play a more serious character than the wisecracking roles that he initially broke-through with. Still it will be a little odd considering he has already played a Marvel character, although that was for Fox rather than Marvel's own studio.
