I had a few other faces and names in mind but I don't dislike him as Cap per se. I just don't like the idea of contradiction in the Marvel movieverse, so it bugs me quite a bit that they picked someone who played a hero before, Fox, Marvel or not.
And Fox are planning a re-boot of the Fantastic Four franchise with a whole set of new actors anyway. So he won't be playing two separate Marvel characters at the same time, even if the are separate movieverses.
