I've been watching Castle every week, and in general I enjoy the show. The schedule of new episodes has been a bit of a chore to keep up with, being anything but regular after the initial run at the start of the season, but I've enjoyed it enough to try. Castle and Beckett have enough chemistry to keep me interested as they work their way through the plot of the week, and the supporting cast (particularly Martha, she cracks me up) are solid. My only complaint is Alexis. She is just too perky and perfect and rolling-out-of-bed-flawlessly-dressed-and-made-up (I'm pretty sure that's a thing, right?) and just annoys me.

With respect to this episode specifically, it was OK. "Cliffhangers" in general annoy me, and it is especially silly when it is only for a single week and there is already a synopsis of next weeks episode showing that there was no lingering damage. On the plus side, I love Dana Delaney and she did not disappoint here. It was a pleasant surprise that the show didn't pull out the old trope of a pissing match between FBI and locals over jurisdiction on the big case and instead seemed able to work together politely and effectively. I'm not sure I have any real favorite moments but enjoyed the episode overall.
