yeah, it's kinda played out but at its best, 24 was riveting television and one of my favorite shows.
Also I must admit I found rich amusement in the outcries of those who wrung their hands over their claims that 24 promoted the Bush/Cheney torture agenda and the revocation of civil liberties. This generally coming from the same sort of person who reacted with scorn to any claim that the entertainment industry could influence societal morals.
