Ok, so we've settled some of last week's discussions about what would happen. Some of us won't be happy with the beginning, but I liked the episode. There were a couple little meh parts, but most of it was good. They walked a fine line trying to keep up the drama while injecting the typical humor. That said, the drama was mostly well done.
Yeah, I wasn't entirely pleased with the opening. I realize it's the only way she could have had some chance of surviving, but how plausible is it that she could have reached the bathroom, shut the door, and dove in the tub in time and NOT be more injured than she was?
Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but they seemed to take their sweet time getting out of a potentially structurally unsound and still on fire apartment.
(it was totally out of place in the tension of the show at that point, but so Castle
