The new guy doesn't quite fit yet, but most of the time I could convince myself this was the same guy in a new body. Not all the time though. He had some awkward lines and stuff that didn't feel like the Doctor. Yet on the other hand, some of the lines were just awesome, including the madman with a box line, which might be my favorite in the whole show so far.

Also, Amy Pond is pretty much impossibly cute. Like, wow. I don't mind admitting that even if the rest of the show was rubbish, I might watch it just for her. Seriously, just, damn. More please.

Thankfully the rest of the show isn't rubbish, so I feel good about it. I'm looking forward to the season, and hopefully Matt Smith will fit better as time goes on. I think he got off to a decent start, at any rate, even if he's not David Tennant.
