Lovely review Camilla, thanks for saving me the effort, i've been rather lazy, never did get my reviews for Precious, Solomon Kane, The Blind Side and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo done either.
Can't stress enough that everyone should go see this movie, not just because of it's brilliance, but also to support independant film making, a real added bonus.
As you say, this would never have gotten past the hollywood script censors, what's the point of having a 12 year old superheroine if you can't slap her on a happy meal after all. Left to independant director/financier Matthew Vaughn however, we get the movie as it should be made, fun, violent and fresh. Infinitely superior to the turgid The Watchmen, and with more stylistic panash for violence than Tarantino, this movie deserves success. I only hope it finds enough while weighted under 18 certificates, c-word 'controversy', and a strong Easter release schedule. I have to say i'm a bit miffed by the release date, but I guess it's hard to find a good slot for a small movie these days, no doubt the big studios flexed their muscles.

Well, it seems to go all out on posters and the like. It is out in Norway now, and there are hardly any other posters in the windows of the cinema. I approve.
I am planning on dragging Tor along to see it in London.
