It's a 16 here in Ireland. It seems the censor/classifiers were able to understand that the violence and swearing were of a comedic nature (see Mark Kermode's video piece linked below)
As for how well it did it came in at number 3 last week (behind Clash of the Titans and How to Train Your Dragon), but was the highest ever grossing movie to debut at number 3. So hopefully it did pretty good.
