Superior to the US rough draft, but otherwise disappointingly bland and very similar to the covers for CROSSROADS and KNIFE, just with the colour changed (to a murky brown-grey-black thing rather than the red of CROSSROADS and jade-green of KNIFE). I much preferred THE GATHERING STORM's more subtle cover of threatening storm clouds in the difference.
