Maybe the cover artist mistook the Wheel of Time series for a sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. This would make it, in fact, take place in a field, such as where the Tower of Genjei is supposed to be, and those tree-looking things are in fact blades of grass, and the Tower is actually a Coke can... at least this would be an excuse that would explain all of the glaring inaccuracies.
