I have been saying for the last few years that Mat will not wear his ter'angreal into the tower. He knows he may die and won't want to waste the ter'angreal. Instead he will give the medallion to Elayne before he leaves.

Thom doesn't appear to have his harp.

Otherwise can't gleam too many details from this cover. We already knew about the gold dagger.


I agree that the bag might contain fireworks, or other things to beat the Finn (e.g. special cuendillar chains & the music box-ter'anreal, which Elayne has). Mat indeed doesn't seem to wear the medallion, though it might be under his shirt.
