I was one of those people who thought Mat was "off" and the worst part was his monologue about women being like mules. So I'm happy there's more "RJ Mat" in ToM, I'm hopeful that means there is some "RJ Moiraine" left, and I'm happy that BS is at least aware of people's opinions on him.

I did really like the parts where Mat was coming up with the stories.
