But I didn't do it because I was afraid it would fail by comparison, I did it because those books consume my life every time I pick them up. I read the first 8 novels in 3 months the first time through (yeah, I picked up the series late) And I did a reread a couple years back, but when i read tGS I felt like it had been way too long and I had forgotten a lot. I'm committing to reread again this summer to be ready for the next one.
