Hopefully this analysis explains why Lan is NOT a little bitch for failing to make the same adjustment all the kids he mocks made after their first battle.
I'm just not sure anyone thought that Lan was a b*&%^ in the first place, though.
Unfortunately, Lan is still as boring as the stone his personality is made out of, and nothing we can do will change it. He may well have been a stoic regardless of whether his nation existed - it might just be how he is.
