I don't think they'll physically switch. Just that Logain will assume the role of the Dragon Reborn. How that's done would be tricky, but interesting to find out.

Oh, lol. Sounds kinda neat in its way, but I don't think Rand can just "stop" being the Dragon Reborn... I think thats one of those "sorry, you were born with it now your stuck with it" kind of things. My biggest reason for that line of thinking would be because of the integration of Rand's and LT's souls and how much that has played a role in the story. It would be a little anticlimactic (imo) to have that whole thing played out and then at the end have the story change. "Never mind Rand, you can go home now, Logain will take it from here". It would just kinda defeat the purpose of writing most of the books (once again just imo). A large portion of the story would be rendered irrelevant (maybe not, but I guess that would all depend on how it played out). It might be cool, but I would personally be disappointed if it turned out that way. The body is a shell, but the soul is the essence of one's existence. Thats why I went with the body switching thing. (Think of Rand as a hermit crab moving into a better shell!!! LOL) :D Whoa I think that would have to lead to some sort of questions as to how that would effect all the bonding that the two of them have, and what the switching would do to it?

This may deserve its own thread, but is the Dragon a Hero of the Horn? Are any Channelers Heroes? - 03/06/2010 05:14:35 PM 768 Views
I always took this to indicate that the channelers have active trait potential for Pattern-twisting - 03/06/2010 10:08:50 PM 721 Views
