I doubt very much that just sealing S'T up again is going to mean everyone is safe and happy and rainbows and butterflies will appear.

I wouldn't be so sure... because it's something like that which happened at the end of TEOTW. When the Blight receded, it simply vanished. It appears the Blight is more a twisting of reality than a real corruption.

When Shai'tan is cut off from Creation, there's really not telling if the part of it that is inside (ie: the TP used in creation) will or won't disappear as well.

If it does, then all Shadowspawn, which are constructs in which the TP is involved, might very well die. Like for the Blight, it may be Shai'tan/the TP that holds what you called "mutations" together.

Most of them will probably be massed around SG by the end, so if they don't die by the loss of Shai'tan, they probably won't survive the ensuing battle anyway.

Most DF will probably be used in the LB as well, so the post LB purge shouldn't be too difficult. As for the "dreadlords", we're speaking of the survivors in a group of less than 500. They won't stand much of a chance against damane, AS, WO, WF, Asha'man

A Forsaken who would survive would go in hiding, or try to build herself an Empire, in Seanchan or Shara.

Jordan liked to leave some things open ended, but I seriously doub the war against the Shadow will be one of those "loose threads". It's the main story line, after all.
