The Bore will be completely closed/unravelled by Rand, not just patched like LTT did. That means the DO won't have any influence on the world again (which could destroy the Shadowspawn) and eventually be forgotten till the next AoL.


Yeah, this is the way I'm seeing the argument. LTT didn't do it right, that's why Shadowspawn still exist. If Rand really fixes things, the DO will be sealed up like he was in the AoL and not be able to interact with creation. This could wipe out the Shadowspawn. It's an interesting possibility.
