the 3rd is a man, according to the letter. she was specific. and it would be fitting for jain farstrider to go.

i think it is the general consensus that they will use those things, or that mat will make a deal with them and lose his eye, or both.


(btw, it's in book 4 that birgitte talks to perrin in the wolf dream)


I have seen the consensus that Mat will lose an eye in the adventure, but why?
