Definitally Elza... CatherineSedai Send a noteboard - 17/07/2010 12:04:18 AM
helped free Semirhage?

"A woman in green, with brown hair, pulled back into a tail, her head bowed."

She said she had Compulsion on her that Semirhage had to remove. She then gave Semirhage the adam.

1. Was this Elza? Why would she be compelled then? Or was this a non-darkfriend who had compulsion used on her?

2. How did she get the adam?

We do not officially know for sure how she got the a'dam, but:

At that moment, the door to his room opened. Another woman entered with a hurried step. She glanced out of the doorway, as if watching for something, then closed it behind her. Elza. Rand felt a surge of hope, but then the small woman joined Semhirage, taking up the other bracelet that controlled the a'dam around Rand's neck. She looked up at Rand, her eyes red, looking dazed- as if something had hit her soundly on the head.

The eyes red looking dazed thing was our clue that she was the one who came to Semi to have the compulsion removed.

Q. Was the Compulsion which Elza told Semirhage about, Verin's work from after Dumai's Wells, and was it Shaidar Haran who told her about it and to ask Semirhage to remove it?
Brandon: Yes.
