It was already said (and confirmed by Verin) that the Last Battle will not be fought with armies and weapons. It seems counter-intuitive that Moridin, the one Forsaken that has never bothered to secure a power base or move militarily, would suddenly ignore the metaphysical battle in favor of a physical confrontation.
It will definitely give a military conflict at TG between Light and Shadow. This is e.g. also seen in Rand's alternate lives. And we also know for a fact that the "Trollocs are coming" (RJ said this), and that Moridin is gathering the Shadowspawn (Graendal notes that).
However, one can't beat the Shadow just with military. Only Rand has a chance to defeat the DO in his confrontation with the DO in the Pit of Doom. And this confrontation will certainly be quite metaphysical, not about brute force.
Will Demandred's identity be revealed in ToM?
