Just rereading KoD in prep for new book and I read Galina's part where she is finally broken and will spend her life in captivity.
Does anyone know why she didn't use the Oath Rod she got from Faile immediately to release her from Therava's control? I know I would in her place. Its seems from the time she left Faile and the other trapped to the time she is recaptured a few hours pass. Is this merely a plot device to get rid of her?
