We never saw a specific character, who died in the previous book, appear/have a PoV in the next book in a scene before the death, though the various plot-/timelines were often not all at the same point (e.g. no Sammael in PoD or Osan'gar in CoT). Would be rather awkward and confusing writing, in my view.

But there are several people who consider it likely that at least Graendal might appear again (some of them believe, though, that Graendal is anyway still alive).
