I thought of Andor as like the Northeast kinda, same with Cairhein (moreso with the Game of Houses). Borderlands are like Minnesota/North Dakota/Canada. Tear, Illian, and Altara are kinda like the South. The Waste is sorta like the Southwest US (Arizona, New Mexico, etc.).
The Seanchan sound like Texans.
