As Etzel pointed out in his earlier post, RJ stated that these creatures were created, not bred. As such, I'd imagine they are all gender neutral / asexual with no reproductive organs or genitals to speak of at all... Of course, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't generally appear as male in stature and bearing.
