It looks to me that the story is setting up some major changes to the way borders will be drawn in the post TG world of Randland.
Yes, Queen Elayne is a classical style of ruler who won't want parts of her realm chopped off, but she is also very practical in addition to being one of the most level headed and realistic characters in the books. She'll be fine trading away exteme western Andor for the much closer and much richer nation of Cairhein where she will be Queen as well. The question is, does she merge them into a single nation or keep them separate?
It seems like King Perrin Goldeneyes and Queen Faile will rule a nation comprised of current day Saldaea, western Andor, part of the Caralain Grass, Arad Doman, Almoth Plain, and Ghealdan.
Empress Fortuona and whatever Matt will be called will rule over present day Altara, Amadicia, Tarabon and the Shadow Coast as well as some of the Sea Folk Isles, perhaps.
It looks as though Rand is setting up Illian and Tear to be pretty much unchanged after the LB, though one or both may grow somewhat into the Plains of Maredo/Far Madding area and Hadden Mirk. Mayene also looks like it will be basically unchanged.
I have no idea what will occur with the rest of the borderland nations. Kandor, Arafel and Shienar may or may not survive the LB and it remains to be seen what will occur with these nations at the end of the storyline.
Murandy is also a question mark as we've seen very little of that nation and there is some mystery and discussion of events transpiring there now.
I think the remaining Aiel, whether all or some return to the Way of the Leaf or not, probably return to serving the Aes Sedai in some capacity and settle around present day Tar Valon. This will, logically, swell the borders of physical Aes Sedai control, once again, beyond the borders of the island.
All just pure speculation on my part, feel free to weigh in and pick it all apart.
