I realize that a lot of people don't care for Cadsuane as a character because she's not polite to your favorite characters and won't lick their asses the way you would if you were in the story, but come on! And that's meant to be snarky, not mean...

Taking only what we know as fact, Moiraine would never stand a chance in a straight up fight. Cadsuane just has too many advantages that Moiraine has never faced... The ter'angreal, the battle experience, the strength, the practical experience, the knowledge, the intimidation factor in already having faced down Moiraine in the past, all those false dragons she's taken.

So Moiraine has taken out a couple of Forsaken who didn't see her coming? Big deal, we've seen how tough a group they are...and she considered herself lucky to have survived.

Moiraine is a great ambush artist, but if Cadsuane sees her coming, she's toast.
