Alivia was wearing angreal when she confronted Cyndane who mentioned that it seemed impossible that Alivia was stronger than she was before she was held as Lanfear.

However she might have just been judging her potential which I'm not sure is affected by the angreal.

Supposedly Lanfear was as strong as a female could be in the Power, but that may just be in the AoL, not now.
