Everyone assumes that she will stay herself, but we know time flows differently there. She could have been a prisoner for 30 years, and as we know, she doesn't know if she will be rescued. She's stuck with foxes that want her skin for clothing*. That HAS to shake her faith.

Then it's not just about freeing her from the ToG, but also from the mental prison her time with the Finn has imposed on her.

Whatever happens, I'd be very disappointed if she came back any more powerful than when she left. At best, she should be the same.

*a joke on RJ's part about the horrors of fur, perhaps?
