My answers:
I'll say he dies.
Why? I dont think he is meant to have a 'happy ending'. Maybe he will need to completely sacrifice his life to seal away the DO.
Also, Mins's vision about 'to live you must die' may not mean he himself will live, but instead 'live on' through his children with Elayne.
Now to be completely contrary, RJ always seems to let Rand just win pretty much everything, and no Chosen have ever been able to stand up to him too well, so he may just get a 'happy ending' after all.
