The Dragon versus the Dragon Reborn, who would win & why?
This is Rand as he is exactly now vs LTT as he was exactly then.
Remember this is to the DEATH.
If you happen to click to reply, I'm going to say that LTT, when he was alive, would obviously defeat Rand. Both were/are ta'veren, both are as strong as a man can be, but LTT has centuries of experience and knowledge on his side. He'd destroy Rand.
Duh.
In Star Wars Yoda's centuries of experience didn't defeat the Emperor (evil overcame good), and neither did Darth Vader defeat Luke even with his vast knowledge and experience (good overcame evil). So LTT's experience with the Power wouldn't necessarily overcome Rand. Rand did think of how to cleanse the Taint, that wasn't Ltt's idea as far as we know so Rand is not exactly stupid with the Power either.
Also, you must take the True Power into account as well as a random factor LTT would never anticipate.
LTT was a tactical genius who was used to fighting the Forsaken (at the end of the War). I'm sure he'd plan for the TP. He battled both Aginor and Ishamael who we know both had access to the TP, and I doubt they just didn't use it to keep things fair with their arch nemesis.
His centuries of experience, knowledge, and training would give him the edge over Rand. Unless it's blind luck, Rand has no edge over LTT. None.
