Has LTT merged with Rand 100% perhaps? Two souls, one body completely integrated?

Not two souls. RJ confirmed that Rand and LTT are quite literally the exact same soul. So one soul and two distinct and separate personalities of that soul. At the end of TGS, Rand finally integrates and accepts this fact and this causes LTT to "merge" with him. Beyond that we don't know until the next book, though most expect that Rand will have access to LTT's memories now.

Maybe it was that he sucked in more of the One Power than he ever has before, and somehow this 'triggered' something which annhiliated LTT somehow?

Possibly, there was a scene where Rand claims:

"That was the answer. It all swept over him, lives lived, mistakes made, love changing everything. He saw the entire world in his mind's eye, lit by the glow in his hand. He remembered lives, hundreds of them, thousands of them, stretching to infinity. He remembered love, and peace, and joy, and hope.

If taken literally, channeling that much OP may have allowed him to remember all his past lives, and that may have helped him to accept LTT, though I believe the process was already happening even before that. Regardless, I doubt he will remember any of those lives now that the CK is toast, only LTT.
