And what made it worse was that it came on the heels of Winter's Heart, which would have been worse than COT if not for one incredible moment at the end.


While I'm not a big fan of COT, WH is one of my favorite books in the series. I love Mat and Rand's arcs in this book. And as a lover of politics I really liked Elayne's plotting.
When the Wolf King carries the hammer, thus are the final days known. When the fox marries the raven, and the trumpets of battle are blown.
