That would be cool - maybe all Rand needs from Moiraine is to know that her death wasn't HIS fault Cannoli Send a noteboard - 02/10/2010 07:56:26 PM
Right off, I haven't read the prologue or Chapter 1 of ToM. So at least put a warning in your subject if something relevant comes up (although that does kind of defeat the purpose ).

I was thinking about Egwene's dream:

Mat throwing dice with blood streaming down his face, the wide brim of his hat pulled low so she could not see his wound, while Thom Merrilin put his hand into a fire to draw out the small blue stone that now dangled on Moiraine's forehead.

Assuming this is all Tower of Ghengi related, is there any significance to the fire that Thom draws Moiraine out of? I know fire equals danger, but since the Finns forbid fire is there an extra meaning? Is Mat going to have to commit arson to escape, with Thom dragging Moiraine out behind them?

And secondly, if Min saw a viewing that Moiraine and Thom would be married, and Moiraine saw the possibility of them dying in the Tower of Ghengi, does that mean they will go through a wedding ceremony mid-rescue? Then they can die without screwing up Min's viewing.

I'd prefer if they just didn't die... *NM* - 02/10/2010 08:50:28 AM 160 Views
