I have always been a big fan of the Lanfear theory, but man is it a hard theory to defend. I have been involved in some bitter debates over the years about Lanfear, who is my prime suspect.

I think Larry may have also provided another clue for Lanfear because he said on Dragonmount that there were clues to the killer all the way through book 9. As far as I know, most of the clues for Graendal are in books 5-7. We learn who Cyndane really is in book 8, I think. However, we also learn a little bit more about Slayer in book 9 so we can't completely rule out Slayer (Etzel's sentimental pick).

I can't wait for this to be revealed. I have a bad feeling it is going to be spoiled very soon. I just hope it isn't Graendal-- that theory has always been to safe and boring for me. But maybe this book will surprise me, as Graendal had a huge part in the prologue and may have a continued presence throughout the book. I hope to be surprised.
