I do not have the time to go back and find the multiple occasions when Lanfear threatened Asmodean, but a quick and cursory read of her part in The Shadow Rising and The Fires of Heaven will almost immediately disabuse you of your erroneous ideas.


I don't understand this theory, though. Lanfear set up Asmodean in this position, so every threat prior to this is irrelevent. After this, she had full access to Asmodean and could have killed him at any time - unlike Sammael who claimed he couldn't find Asmodean.

Why would Lanfear suddenly want him dead after they fell through the doorway? I can appreciate that she felt anger for having been overwhelmed by Rand, but I can't imagine that Asmodean would be the target for that frustration. Cyndane clearly wants Rand dead.
