I still don't get why when they fight, especially in The Great Hunt, he doesn't Kill Rand. Instead, he stabs the dude in a place that's not guaranteed to kill him. It just never made sense to me. I mean, they're fighting, and Ishmael sounds pissed. He sounds like he's going to kill him. Why doesn't he stab him right in the heart and just be done with it?
