And someone as pompous as Weiramon wouldn't be shy about refusing to obey orders countermanding the Lord Dragon's, nor would he want to hide it from another.


He would, if he thought it made him look weak. Admitting that he is forced to follow Rand stings, and the fact that he is only doing it because he perceives risk is probably not something he wants to make public.

He could be either, IMO, but I have a feeling that he's actually just a red herring.
