Those are excruciating because it's obvious that RJ really wanted us to think he was a leader...but he's really not; his personality and character really don't fit that type of role. Even his power to commune with wolves has more to do with running free & being a scavenger to the dead and dying than it does settling down to wear a crown. We've had enough books, and frankly, I'm tired of Perrin.
