That's fairly simple to answer. Because none of those other characters are starting a worldwide campaign to convince all the most powerful rulers in the world to oppose the only person who does have a plan. Because none of those other characters, despite being childhood friends with Rand himself, don't give him any sort of the benefit of the doubt or take any time to try to understand why he might have chosen that path or give any reflection to it whatsoever, but rather jump into political intrigues about how to manipulate said childhood friend to a different course of action (which, of course, involves manipulating many of the world's leaders).
