I also thought the Tower of Ghenji chapters were well written, the best that Sanderson has done with Mat's character.

I know you meant this as a compliment on Brandon's writing, but he has revealed a few days ago that Jordan had left the whole episode and its direct aftermath in finished form.... so you're saying that Sanderson's best Mat is when Jordan wrote him. :P


It was much better overall than Mat in tGS.
