She mentions her father teaching her to track, as he would have his sons if he'd had any. She never mentions sisters, and surely she would if they existed. Her mother's name was Elnore. That's literally all we know about her background. No mention of aunts or cousins or anyone. Odd, in a way. Every other main character was given family.
