The Seanchan have a huge war machine at their command...

With a huge number of Damane trained in destructive and dangerous weaves. It's really just a question of numbers, the Ashaman eventually just get over run. I'm sure there pockets of resistance.
But really this is all beside the point, Avi's vision isn't so much about the Seanchan then it is about the Aiel.
The Aiel have to find another purpose and reason for collective existence post-TG. It's Avi's job to ensure that they do because otherwise they will drift down this path into a war they cannot win. How she ensures that her nation retains it sense of honor and commitment while switching directions is her big problem but at least she's seen the alternative is like.
Personally, I'd like to see the Aiel once again take up the way of the Leaf.

The Ashaman's batting average against other channeler groups has been mediocre.

You forget that the Seanchan also know how to fight channelers with conventional forces.

I never said the Damane were better than Ashaman on 1 to 1 basis.
