since EVERY woman with the spark is collared and never has children. Whereas in the Westlands only a portion of the sparkers are caught, and only a portion of those wind up in the Tower or the Kin where they are expected to remain celibate.
The Tower dwindling had little to do with genetics, and much to do with the fact that the Tower doesn't (didn't) bother to recruit.

But Seanchan damane also probably live the longest of any channelers, barring death in battle. They're valuable, treated carefully, and kept away from risk. Even though they don't reproduce, simply by continuing to exist within the population for six hundred odd years at a time, with new ones being collared all the time, they'll keep the numbers up. But I imagine that if the Seanchan were given another few thousand years to collar sparkers, the population of channelers would indeed drop dramatically.

not that I disagree with you, but it is possible to breed out a recessive gene.

Channeling could also be used in repair/reclamation projects. That stuff tends to even out.

you'd think the Seanchan would have even lower numbers of channellers
