He doesn't seem to particularly need her as things stand. I'm sure having around will be helpful due to Rand's emotional connection with her, but I don't see that having any monumental use now that he's found himself again.

Given where the books are at now, I'm thinking that perhaps she has some information regarding Sealing the Bore that Rand needs in order to Seal it properly. Although if she did not get it from the Finns, I don't know why she would have this information and not anyone else.

What do you think her role is going to be now?


I agree that she is going to provider the key to sealing the bore. Remeber, she has been actively researching this from the moment of his birth.
