Moiraine is the closest tie that Egwene and Rand have to each other. Or perhaps she's tied with Nynaeve. Either way, Egwene likes and respects Moiraine. Rand loves Moiraine. If anyone can help them work together it's her. Nynaeve doesn't have enough tact :P


My thought after the rescue is that Mat will show up with her at the gathering of the armies right in time to stop mass chaos. Moraine is legend now, imagine what Aes Sedai will be willing to listen to when she shows up and supports Rand.
