It is said at various points in the series that wisdoms who can listen to the wind and who are exceptionally good at healing are in reality channeling. Why are there no indication that these women live to be very old? One would expect at least some of them to become several hundred years old.


Given how superstitious the common folk can be, I would think that a wisdom who realised she wasn't ageing normally would move away before everyone else noticed and she ended up with a Dragon's fang on her door, and then repeat the pattern every decade or so for the rest of her life. Or find herself a farm in the middle of nowhere, like Cadsuane's toothless old wilder.
