I think most of Randland will be attacked, via the ways. DomA had a theory that Demandred will sent out his Trolloc army and attack every nation currently held by Rand, as a way to prove he is better than Rand.
And I believe after the attack, Rand will start a vast rescue mission to save everyone, and gather them somewhere, maybe on the field of Merrilor.
Sanderson recently said that LTT's ability to sense people for miles and miles (in EOTW prologue) is going to be important. But no one has come up with any semi-important use of such ability. The best that people came up with was to avoid opening a gateway near people and cutting them in half.
The ability to sense people so that they can be rescued certainly makes much better use of this talent.
Besides, every one needs to get very close to the Rand/Perrin/Mat so their food does not rot over night. I sense a gathering of everyone in AMOL.
