She was responsible for the destruction of Mesaana only through her use of Slayer. This information doesn't clear up whether she personally killed Asmodean or if she ordered someone else to do it.


It says so straight out in the glossary of ToM. "Graendal: A ruthless killer, she was responsible for the deaths of Aran'gar and Asmodean and for the destruction of Mesaana."
