I hate to interrupt ramptant fanboyism (Ha! I'm lying; I love it), but Jordan was responsible for everything BAD about the series, too. I could understand snobbery if Sanderson had taken over THE BOOK OF THE NEW SUN. But elitism from WoT? Heh. You'll have to forgive me, but Sanderson's "attempts" at authorship far exceed the execrable efforts that were Crossroads of Twilight and Winter's Heart.

In spite of all that, I would have preferred that Jordan finish his series, if only for the thematic unity. Stylistically, though, WoT is risible.
